Early Life
Born on July 4, 1996, in Gada village, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, Dheerendra Krishna Garg faced significant challenges in his early years. His father, Ram Kripal Garg, was a priest, while his mother, Saroj Garg, sold milk and came from the Gautam family in Motigadh village, Bijawar tehsil.
Dheerendra received his early education in Chhatarpur, completing his high school and intermediate studies at a government school in Ganj.
Before becoming the head of Bageshwar Dham, Shastri encountered many obstacles. He often reflects on a transformative night when he sought financial help during difficult times and how he gained spiritual insight from his experiences. Following the passing of his grandfather guru, Dheerendra Krishna Shastri assumed the role of Mahant at Bageshwar Dham.

Acharya Dheerendra Krishna Shastri received his religious education from his grandfather, Bhagwan Das Garg, whom he affectionately calls his grandfather guru. He credits much of his spiritual knowledge to him. Bhagwan Das Garg, associated with the Nirmohi Akhara, played a crucial role in Dheerendra Shastri’s religious upbringing and guidance.
According to those connected with Bageshwar Dham, their great-grandfather, known as Sanyasi Baba, was instrumental in building the Balaji temple in Bageshwar Dham.
